Teaching My Sister How to Drive

January 5, 20146 Comments

The #FiestaMovement has come to an end, sadly, which means no more free gas for me! BUT, before I returned the car, I decided to teach my sister how to drive stick shift. Now in all fairness, she had driven stick shift before…kinda.

FTC DISCLAIMER: Ford invited me to be an agent for the Fiesta Movement. They’ve provided me with a 2014 Ford Fiesta, and they’re covering gas, insurance and administrative costs for the duration of the Movement. They definitely threw me the alley.

She had never driven on the road with other cars before and  knew the theory of how the clutch works, since I had previously explained it to her. However, this video represents a significant leap in my sister’s driving ability and I did think I was going to die at one point in the video, if that counts for anything.

Was I a good teacher? Do you know how to drive stick?

Hey! How did you do your outro? That song doe… 😀

  2. Travis says:

Looks like your sister did really good for her first time driving stick. (I hate to say it, but her first time driving stick went better than mine)

Of course this does remind me of a really mean joke. “Why couldn’t Helen Keller drive?”
