VIDEO: Ghetto Vocab – Yolo, Yeet, Thot
So Ghetto Vocab has been an idea I’ve had for well over a year now. I randomly decided to make it this week. I like the idea of having a series like this because it takes the stress off me being so creative. I can share the load with my friends, most of whom are from my acting class.
Definitely let me know what you think of the new series. The goal is to put out one per week in addition to another original video like Not About That Life or a Top 100. We’ll see what happens.
I’m serious about this series though. I even bought the domain GhettoVocab.com so you know it’s real.

VIDEO: Top 100 Things Not to Say During a Job Interview
Let me start this off by saying, this is my favorite video I’ve ever made, replacing Top 100 Things Not to Say to a Cop. Coincidentally, it was also the video that took the longest to edit. Probably because I decided to alter my outro…in addition to shooting a lot of coverage.
As far as logistics, I shot this video at Purple Rock Scissors, a digital agency that a couple of my friends work at, using some friends from my acting class. It did feel a little weird saying some of these lines, however, if you knew some of the things that went on during our acting class, this was nothing in comparison.
If I learned anything through this experience, it’s that filmmaking is truly about relationships and connections. This video alone is a testament to that. Having a solid location and actors does wonders for a video.

VIDEO: Not About That Life 13
New year, new me baby.
My New Year’s resolutions for this year? Make a video every single week. Also, go to church every single week.
I have other goals as well, but I figure if I do those two things, everything else will fall into order.
So far I was late for both, but in the mighty words of a great Greek philosopher “Better late than never, but never late is better”…jk that was Drake.
On a serious note though, I fully intend to make at least 51 more videos, preferably on time. So in the meantime sit back and enjoy Not About That Life 13!

In the latest installment of Not About That Life, I talk about relationship goals, eyebrow goals, and the advent of new words including fleek, thot, as well as the oh so popular yeet. If you’re confused as to what these terms mean, you’re not the only one. My spellcheck was also thoroughly bewildered.
On a side note, if you’re wondering why my posts have been sporadic yet again, it’s because I’ve been in London and Istanbul for the past week! Don’t worry though, you’ll learn more about that in an upcoming video!
