New year, new me, and apparently new Cowboys?
One of my New Year’s resolutions this year was to post regularly to my blog and to watch THE DALLAS COWBOYS WIN A SUPER BOWL. So far I am on track to do both.
I will admit this game, like EVERY GAME THIS SEASON, gave me far too much anxiety. Why does it always have to come down to the last second? But as long as we keep winning, I’m fine with whatever method we employ to get there.
Are you glad we’re playing the Rams next? Did you have as much anxiety as me?

The NFL Draft came and went this week and it saw theĀ Dallas CowboysĀ filling a majority of needs on both offense and defense. I was fortunate enough to experience watching our first round pick with Zach Martin and Travis Frederick at the Star thanks to AT&T!
It was surprising to see us stand pat with our first round pick and select LVE when Derwin James was within reach. I do like the additions of Connor Williams and Michael Gallup in rounds 2 and 3 respectively though.
Hopefully, this all goes to making our team “Dak friendly” and getting us back on track to win the Super Bowl this season so Eagles fans can sit down.

Like a thief in the night, so too was the departure of Dez Bryant from the Dallas Cowboys. To be honest, his departure stunned me. I was fully determined Bryant would be suiting up for America’s Team next season. Management saw things differently.
To be fair, I can see the pros and cons of releasing Dez. On one hand, you are freeing up cap space for a yet-to-be-determined reason (Earl Thomas) and Dez was not the same player he was in his prime. On the other hand, Dez was the heart and soul of the team, for better or worse.
One things for sure: someone will be looking really dumb in a couple of years.
